Book Creator
This fun little app allows you to create your own iBooks right from an iPad. It is not as robust as iBooks Author, but it is a fun app for simple book projects and it is much more portable.
Explain Everything
Explain Everything is a wonderful app that I use in my class for screencasts. Students are able to show what they know in this easy to use, full-featured screen casting app.
Sound Note
This fun little app allows you to record audio while you take written or typed notes. Very handy app. Audio is not synced with writing so you will have to fast forward and rewind to find audio that matches notes.
Penultimate
This is another note taking app. No audio here.
Paper
This app is beautiful. It has wonderful note taking and drawing capabilities.
iPhoto for iPad
Apple's photo editing app for iPad. I really like how easy to use this app is.
Find My iPhone
This is a must have app for any iDevice owner. I have used this many times to find a lost iPhone or iPad.
GarageBand
This app allows you to create and edit music easily. I wish I had more musical talent.
iMovie
Want to make movies, photo slideshows or movie trailers? This is the app for you. This is one of my favorites.
Popplet
Create webs and graphic organizers with this app.
Comic Life
Create beautiful comics with this really cool and easy to use app.
Toontastic
Create fun animated cartoons with this app. Teach writing skills and the story arc through animations. A student favorite.
Evernote
Create and store files online. Save space on your iPad. Create digital portfolios.
Display Recorder
Capture everything you do on your iPad screen with this app.
Lecture Tools
Have students view your presentation right on their iPads. Students can answer and send questions to the presenter as well.
